Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. 4.5 solid for this small mom and pop pizza place offering Thin crust and Sicilian Pizza and Subs. Quick, friendly delivery service. We ordered a bunch of pizza for a poker game and everyone loved it. The Sicilian pizza is a much thicker and heartier version. Sort of in between a Chicago deep dish and a regular pizza. I also enjoyed their italian sub for lunch one day. The make it just the right about of wet, so that when it arrives it isn't soggy or to dry.

Never EVER again. $26 for the worst service and food I've ever had. Only one other table at the time of our visit. NOT BUSY. But the waitresses were too busy ignoring us to talk about their nails and friends. We almost left but we had drinks on the table so we felt we had to stay. When I finally ASKED if we could order she apologized. Everything was forgotten. We had to ask again for things. Had to ask multiple times for drinks. Horrible. FINALLY my chicken parm grinder arrives. I've NEVER EVER had a chicken parm sub on SOGGY bread. It's usually toasted. The whole meal was bad. I've never left a small tip before and even at 10% it was NOT deserved. I will never go back.

Go to Pizza Hut ! For pizza , subs are good there . Not very friendly there ??? They try to over cheese it to hide the terrible sauce !! I'm a pizza snob and I told you to go to Pizza Hut ???

Tonight's meatball subs were simply not good. We usually love their meatball subs and have been ordering from there for years. But, if tonight was my first time ordering from there, I wouldn't order again. The subs were burnt to a crisp and had very minimal sauce on them. Next time, I will order something else.

Stopped by again to enjoy the amazing pizza that they make and this time we left disappointed. The service that we had the first time was amazing to the service last night. We waited for ever for service and it just took for ever to get to place our order. I would say that it was less busy last night compared to our first visit. I have decided that I from now on will do takeout only if I decide to go back. Don't get me wrong the pizza is AMAZING! Service was just subpar at best.

Been a few times, they have some good pizza, and meatball subs, not so great italian subs. They use mortadello. Mediocre service, sometimes very friendly service, other times, very standoffish.

Is it the greatest Italian restaurant? No. But it is tasty, good enough Italian that ought to make most people happy. It's certainly better than I could cook and the prices aren't bad either.

Solid place in St. Cloud. Great quality pizza,... my hubby (the pizza snob) and I approve. It is actually a basic restaurant that has alot of take-out business. You can be served or walk or call in and take-out. They have a decent variety of unique subs that are consistently good and big!! The pizza rocks and try the Calzone which is huge or if you want something smaller their "Eddie Bread" which they say feeds two people or I say 1 VERY hungry person ;-) Also steer clear of the calamari,.... seems like just frozen stuff thrown in to the fryer. I love calamari, but it has been dissapointing the two times we have tried it. GO forth and eat!!

I haven't had the privilege of tasting their pizza, but I certainly can vouch for their subs. This little hole in the wall in St. Cloud gives you delicious, hot, and stacked subs for very reasonable prices. This is a great place to eat lunch. They have many different combination of meats for the subs, but I tried the one with roast beef, turkey, ham, and cheese. It was great. The subs come hot unless you tell them you'd rather have it cold. It was a substantially filling sub with good quality ingredients. You can certainly tell from the taste of the bread what separates this from a chain like Subway. It's not even close. The meats are freshly sliced and the vegetable toppings all taste fresh. Lesson: Subway claims to have fresh ingredients while Apps Pizza and Subs actually HAS fresh ingredients.

I wanted some local pizza last night so I ordered pick up for Apps. I had heard great things about their subs, but I wanted pizza and wings. I ordered a large pizza, an order of wings, and my wife wanted some mac and cheese bites. I have to say the mac and cheese bites were actually the best thing... The pizza was alright. The pros were: it was big, it had good crust, and lots of cheese. The cons were: it was a little lacking on sauce and the toppings were a little bland. The wings were not super big, but the sauce was very good. The people were nice. They had my order ready when I got there and the price was right. Apps showed it had potential and I will be back to try those subs I've heard about.

One of the most mediocre pizzas I've ever eaten. Save your money and go someplace else.

About Applebee's

Applebee is an American full-service restaurant brand popularly known for its signature Riblets. Applebee was conceptualized in 1980 by Bill and TJ Palmer in Atlanta, Georgia. At first, the restaurant was named T.J. Applebee's RX for Edibles and Elixirs. After the concept was acquired by W.R. Grace and Company, the restaurant was renamed as Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar. Later the company and the Applebee's concept changed hands with Abe Gustin and John Hamra who started the first Applebee's franchise restaurant in Kansas City.

Later in 2007, IHOP Corp. now known as DineEquity, Inc. acquired Applebee's and began their journey together to make Applebee's the world's largest full-service restaurant chain. Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
